On the beach of Lemmer, former skater Rintje Ritsma competed on Wednesday evening against marathon rider Anne Okkema and his 4 in hand. In a race over three heats, Ritsma had to recognize his superior in the 4-horsepower of Okkema.

Along the flood line of the Lemster beach, Ritsma won the first moto with a street length lead. The second and third heat went – after an exciting neck-and-neck race – to Okkema, who took the overall victory.

Wendy Okkema with Stal Okkema’s Eos and Lisanne Veenje with Michiel 442 were again there to put on a beautiful show under the saddle!
